Or if you don't mind staying in Grantham, the 27 holes at Belton Park are some of the nicest Parkland you'll find. Very underrated course with 3 very unique 9 hole tracks that you can vary across the two days.
I played Princes over the May bank holiday and stayed in the lodge. The changes to the Himalayas and Shore loops have bedded in nicely and it's looking really good now.
The lodge was pretty lively, the food is excellent, they know their market and I think they have absolutely nailed the overall experience.
I'm not sponsored by Princes, but I'm going back in two weeks, so if anyone from Princes is reading this a little discount would be appreciated in return for the glowing endorsement
Me & a mate stayed & played at Forest Pines in July. Great venue, great course (although surprisingly wet at the time).
Was the ideal half way location for us, as I'm on Essex coast & he's in North-East.
