Tiger countdown is on.
Excitement building with golf fans everywhere. They could sell tickets to him just polishing he shoes.
Hopefully he is flushing it and taking no divots. It is what it is.

Maybe it's just me but I view Tiger's latest comeback with both trepidation and a little indifference. A bit like a boxer who has fought too many fights I think it may be time for Tiger to hang up his clubs and move on with his life. Despite the PIP paying him a fortune I don't want to see him hobbling around trying to make the cut in tournaments. I'd rather see him sorting out the PGA or captaining the US Ryder Cup team.

Apparently he was " feeling a bit sore" after yesterday.....
Not surprising really
He's giving 20-odd years up to most of the field and at times I think it showed...
His mantra has always been that he's not there to make up the numbers....yesterday disputed that a little..
OK, 1st round back since the Masters...let's see what he's like on Sunday afternoon.
I think he's being a bit ambitious but time will tell.

Based on one poor round, the first time out in months, Zalatoris is past it as well & ought to give up

I guess the difference is that I'm expecting WillZ to get better as he has time on his hands..
And he couldn't get the ball in the hole...lost 5 shots to the field on the greens alone.
As with Tiger...Let's see what Sunday afternoon brings..

If Tiger stays fit enough to play 4 rounds of golf, then I'd expect him to get better as well.

Big IF mind you.

I played recently in the USA on holiday.
Was giving the lads 20 yrs so I don’t think Tiger can give the best in the world 20 yrs in his condition.
I think he will only hurt himself again.

Shame but he should have given up on a high.

It could be argued that the one thing Tiger doesn't have is time.....he's 48 this month.
I'd love to see him back to his best but I'd hate to him a cripple before he's 55..
