I hope Zach does not pick Brooks because then it shows what they think about the Ryder Cup..... shame really.
Er...make your mind upI hope they do pick him so they do not harm the Ryder Cup......

Lol pretty small pool to pick from then….Member of PGA or ET, have qualified according to the laid out rankings or be picked by their captains, and have demonstrated that they are a decent human being with some moral compass.
How will it harm the Ryder Cup ?I hope they do pick him so they do not harm the Ryder Cup......
Have got to that stage I am laughing which ever way they go, not sure I will even watch whoever they pick, starting to become a circus for me.Er...make your mind up
You have a good memory, that was a long time ago, and he went because it was a no contest back then.Did it harm the Ryder Cup when Tom Weiskopf went big-game hunting instead of playing?
The PGA of America and the PGA tour are 2 entirely different organisationsThe PGAT and ET they hate LIV so do not want their players to be involved, even though they are more then qualified.
He didn;t goYou have a good memory, that was a long time ago, and he went because it was a no contest back then.
Exactly. The RC was just a bit of fun rather than a contest back then. The Seve era made it the event it is rather than a biannual curio. You have a good memory, that was a long time ago, and he went because it was a no contest back then.
I agree that the ET would only pick one LIV player possibly, that is Sergio, Rham wants him and maybe one old stall wart would help the course. The PGA of America and the PGA tour are 2 entirely different organisations
The PGA tour don't run or pick the RC team for the US.
As for the European Team, I doubt anyone is playing well enough to get in anyway. Is Westwood even good enough to be picked for the Team he Captains?
Bye thenHave got to that stage I am laughing which ever way they go, not sure I will even watch whoever they pick, starting to become a circus for me.
Sorry I meant to say that he did not play because it was a non event. He didn;t go
I imagine the PGA of America would want their champion to play, yes. The PGA tour doesn't really have a champion. Except maybe The Players (and Scheffler is going).I agree that the ET would only pick one LIV player possibly, that is Sergio, Rham wants him and maybe one old stall wart would help the course.
The PGA Tour don't pick the team but Zach would have to answer to them.....Would the PGA want their Champion in the team ?
God, imagine if it was still USA v GB&I nowadays. I wouldn't rate our chances much at all!Exactly. The RC was just a bit of fun rather than a contest back then. The Seve era made it the event it is rather than a biannual curio.
Of course they do. It's whoever wins the East Lake Handicap next week.I imagine the PGA of America would want their champion to play, yes. The PGA tour doesn't really have a champion. Except maybe The Players (and Scheffler is going).
Its stll a very British team though. Strides have been made to widen it more in Europe, and super players have been critical, but a likely scenario this year is Rose, Hatton, McIlroy, MacIntyre, Fitzpatrick, Lowry, Fleetwood. We are still more than half the teamGod, imagine if it was still USA v GB&I nowadays. I wouldn't rate our chances much at all!
But we'd lose two of our best three players. And how low would we have to look for the 12th man? A Ryder Cup with Aaron Rai and Dale Whitnell playing? Its stll a very British team though.
