2010 targets? any body already achieved?

My first target was to actually play to my handicap ( didn't manage it once all last year :o ).

Managed it at Walton Heath :D

Wahoooooo.

Dunno what to do now, that's me done for the next 6 months, and then it's time to pack up for the winter

My targets for 2010, back playing after a 27 yr lay-off!!

Consistently break 80; mostly acheiving this

Win this yrs B championship; runner up last yr and top qualifier in first medal sunday past with a 78.

Get down to Single Figures; 13.2 now 12.1

Oh and win a few fourball comps with my regular playing partner.

No.

Didn't really set any targets. Just wanted to practise more and enjoy playing more. Practise is a long way off and been struggling due to lack of practise so not doing good.

There is always next year I guess. Hopefully.

i've not even managed to get my 3 cards in yet due to my flippin back injury.

some chipping practice tomorrow night will be the first step back then hopefully over the next two weeks can get the remaining 2 cards in. After that, my target for this year is to get my handicap below 14. Only time will tell... i was certainly hitting the ball well enough before injury.

Pete93... sounds like you could have a great year - stick with it and all will come good. just remember one thing - we all do this for fun so keep smiling and don't beat yourself up if you don't achieve everything you want to.

One target has been met - I've won a comp!
Another target is well on the way to being met - playing more!
Only real target left is to at least get to single figures but really to challenge my best ever handicap of 8.1. Currently 9.7 after a bad round 2 weeks ago but a chance to make ammends tomorrow in the Medal. I know I can shoot mid-70's as I do it regularly on our friday bounce games - just got to reproduce it in the comp.

Target for the year was to retain single digit handicap. Now back at 10. Damn.

New short term target, to get back to single digit handicap.

Seasons target to get down to 8 point something, and not be borderline 9/10.

Achieved one of mine on Sunday when I broke 100 for the first time, shot 98. Even though I didn't count my score until I was finished I still had a fair idea I was close to breaking 100. Playing the last knowing that if you don't cock it up you will break 100 is a bit nerve wrecking but in fairness I played it well & got a par

I guess doing it more often & getting a handicap cut are my new targets.

Looked to win more medals with lowest gross, ive won 3 already but only junior comps so maybe step it up to mens comps now. I also want to get down to cat 1 but well soon see ;)

My main aim was to stop tinkering with my swing and to just enjoy my golf. Had a .1 and made a couple of buffers so far, but on the whole i'm more relaxed on the course and as a result have been hitting the ball better.

I only had one target at the start and that was to simply play more and get the most out of having a membership. I have now upped my playing time from once every 2 weeks to 3 times a week and enjoying it so much more!
