2010 Shot of the Year??

Too many to pick for me!! But I'm definatly mate up on a player during a tournement! Mcilroy in the quail hollow, makes the cut on the mark and then wins, remarkable from a 22 year old !!!

Ammended that age for you!!! Does that make it better???

Too many for me to choose, but I thin our GMac's shot to the 18th at pebble beach has to be close to the best. To keep his nerve in that presure was great
Roll on next season, GMac is the man.............

I don't think you can look past Big Phil's 6 iron either.
A long shot from the pine needles, over the creek - as good as it gets
Although I liked Tiger's hook too.

I can't have Phil's shot on the 11th - it set up perfectly for him, his swing was not impeded, a nice gap between the trees to the pin....it was good, but not great.

I would take G'Mac's approach to the 16th - he knew he needed to keep the pressure on Mahan and sticking it to 12 feet or so was a fantastic shot when many were missing right - the putt was the icing!

I'll second that Alan an amazing shot but from a guy that you expect that type of shot from.

As an aside the way Martin Kaymer played the play off in the USPGA,while Bubba Watson was intent on smashing his driver Kaymer stuck to his game plan and hit the right shots.

Shot of the year????

Not even close to a certain Steve Kemlo managing to go out of bounds right off of the first tee at Machrihanish!

How the f#(k he managed that I will never ever know in a million years but it must have been a belter to reach the tarmac!

:D ;)

What happened on the 11th? I cannot recall that one.

Meant the 13th

The 9 iron that gmac hit on the 18th at pebble, after his caddy reccommended it, 8 iron could have put him in bother, 9 left a nice approach distance, very clever, good caddy work, good execution.

Kaymers putt to make the playoff at the uspga.

You're all wrong - Hunter Mahan's duffed chip at the 17th at Celtic Manor in his singles match with McDowell (hate the term G-Mac!) to hand the Ryder Cup back to Europe and spark the biggest party in South Wales since a shepherd first experienced the benefits of snuggling up to a sheep on a cold evening on a side of hill!! :D :D

I believe he was actually 20 at the time and celebrated his 21st birthday the following week.

My shot on the 8th at the woldingham in September. Deep bunker greenside up tight to the lip, head below the pin and I need to get the ball about 8ft vertical To clear the lip and land it 3ft past the lip, pin is about 3ft onto the green 6ft from the lip. open lob wedge fully committed and left it less than a putters grip from the hole

Bang tidy!
