Need to lose a few (quite a few) pounds and get the swing in order plus get a new reliable friendly putter.

Scotland is closed for proper competitive golf until end March.........just winter league type comps

However, I do have to say the new swing is working rather well, just sort the short game and your h'cap will come down no trouble.

What did you shoot homer?

It's not about what Homer shoots at the moment it's about how he hits the ball and believing in himself which he is doing really well at present. Homer has the Game tee to green of a single figure golfer but the short game is nowhere near that level. It really is a distinct split.

If he can get the short game in order which he should be able to do he can easily get to single figures.

Homer, For what it's worth, I have my own ideas about where your short game issues lie and twice yesterday nearly said something but I don't feel qualified to be giving advice so kept my trap shut. I'm happy to share my thoughts with you if you want them but your new coach is far more qualified than me

Seriously though if homer is still having problems after using a veasy, then I can only see a chipper helping him.

I can't wait to get out again, saying that I've only played once in the past month and I've really enjoyed the wee break. Chilled out Sunday mornings with the boys and built up loadsa brownie points.
Now I'm counting the days till the lighter nights, winter league resumes on the 15th looking forward to that too.
