I used mine to play it last year, the lads in the shop were great and reminded us to bring the card or they couldn't give the discount. They definitely take all cards now as they mentioned it the last time we were in there.
Alot of good players will choke down when they want to reduce height into the wind.
They will also choke down the grip 1-1.5 inch to take a little bit of distance off, my friend who I caddied for would do this when he was between clubs. For example between a 7-8 he would choke down a 7.
Where abouts are you located Steve as there's some better course near those that I would look at joining first. Multiple course at one location doesn't really bother me but practice facilities are high on my priority list.
I will second that, I really enjoyed it and the course held up very well with the amount of water it had on it. Tough conditions today with the wind and rain. I would like to play it in the summer to see how it plays when it's hard and fast.

Then I really enjoy the Nicklaus course at Carden but the Cheshire disappointed me when I played it again last year.
Trust me when I say you don't want to see me in a plastic dress! Plus those days are long gone around the same time as my military ID card.

Brilliant course, I used to be a member there when I was in the RAF. To far for me to go down for a days gold or else I would jump at it.
You will not be disappointed if you sign up to this.
I tried them when I got my mp5 as I was thinking of having them as a combo in the 5-4 irons. I ended up with a full set of mp5 as I hit them so well. I wouldn't turn my nose up at a set if they came up at the right price.
I do enjoy Sandiway and think it's a really good test of golf. I know a couple of people who have e been members over the years and they have nothing but good things to say about it.
If I was living in Shrewsbury I would go for Llangollen, but that's just personal preference as it's one of my...
