Set of irons (new 2008) I got hold of them via e-bay 2016.
I really like the heads however am convinced over the last year I have not been getting same, consistant, distance with them.
In my head I'm telling myself it's the shafts. There's no visible traces of...
Thanks for the replies, I contacted motocaddy about their hybrid bag but they confirmed it was discontinued and unlikely anyone would have any stock left. Going to take a stop by a couple of shops and see what I can see. Current bag sits ok at the bottom but barely reaches the mid support bitty...
Hi, only place I've seen that is golfbuyitonline who have gone / are going out of business, I've not been able to find it elsewhere incl the motocaddy site else that looks like it would have done the job alright.
Raised it with the committee who are considering it. There seems to be a view they need approval from the Union / CONGU to implement the LR?
Another example today of why it is needed. Not a bad shot, under 10ft short of the green and what should have been a realistic up and down chance ruined...
Im guessing you wouldn't be feeling the same if the bad holes were at the start of the round. I know that's the case with me anyway.
Positives - you had a good score despite the finish.
You were playing and not rained off.
You have the Club Plate Championship to look forward to :)
I'm the same - I always find myself going back to the 2ball - it somehow just seems easier but the stats still tell the same story as with any other putter I use? Tradesman, not the tools!!
I've had Scotty in the past. Newport 2. Very nice club and I regret selling it.
Rather than ebay, maybe...
Yeah, we have preferred lies in place till end of the month which covers the short grass.
The number of times though that I or others have just missed a green or fairway and found little or no ball left visible to hit is becoming very frustrating - adding 3 or 4 shots to a round easily.
Our...
Just wondering, with this prolonged wet period most of the country is being subjected to; how many clubs, if any, have a local rule in place covering embedded balls anywhere on the course?
edit: except hazards of course!
As said already in the thread - supp scores are a good thing but should only be in force if a player is not going to get 3 competition rounds played to maintain their active handicap. I'm only aware of 1 person at our club that submits them and to the best of my knowledge, there is nothing...
No. I'll be up the Lynedoch on Sunday though have been a member of Craigie Hill in the past.
Craigie Hill is nice if a little unfair in places. Quite a few blind shots. The 5th, 12th and 14th are the trickiest holes I feel.
Hopefully you'll get a decent day for it.
Have you played...
