My SX500 turned up on Saturday from Scottsdale Golf. Used on Sunday in the pouring rain. What a fantastic bit of kit. Clear bright graphics very fast. Can't say enough good things about it.
It is showing data that you enter on your skygolf 360 profile. I would imagine its like the Touch and everytime time you start a round the Touch puts up a message Non conforming do you want to turn off. If you select no then at the top in Red it shows NC throughout the round.
Played in our Turkey Trot on Sunday got 43 points thought I had done enough only to be beat by another 21 Handicapper with 45 points still £15 Meat voucher not a bad way to start Crimbo.
My course uses prefered lies, I don't really agree with them but in saying that I do ocasionally use them when I'm chipping on to the green if there is a visible large clump of mud on the ball. Some players though can't play without it. We tried one round last year where the captain said no...
Fade for me, sometimes straight but I would like to be able to draw the ball, I did it once don't know how but it looked really nice in the air. When I first started playing I had a really bad hook but I can't even do that now.
The reason I put about handicapping at 3/4 is because our club doesn't only use it at matchplay they try to use it whenever they can. I have played a stapleford comp off 3/4. Infact I played a comp on Monday that was 7/8. I also play in a league where the maximum handicap is 18. I have no...
I am a high handicap golfer, I don't really mind if I play Full, 7/8 or 3/4. The only thing I ask is we are handicapped anyway why handicap the handicap? What other sport does this? none that I can think of.
A low handicapper will always have the advantage,
1. He or she loses less shots.

I have just got back from a weeks golfing in Myrtle Beach USA and I must say what a fantastic time I had. The 6 Courses we played were all in fantastic condition and the service we had from the men taking the clubs from the cars and putting them on the buggies, the supplies in the buggies...
I don't mind showing my Handicap because in March I was a 28 now I am 19.9 and I set myself a target to reach 18 by the end of this so called Summer. I would have made it except for the c**p weather. :(
Not bad for saying I've only been playing 2 Years :)
There seems to be a common theme here with chiropractor's and legs being 1" shorter than the other, mine blamed that on my shoulder pain. I stopped bowling for 18 months and it went away. I must still have one leg shorter than the other but I don't have shoulder pain anymore. :D
