Your worst putts?

I managed to five putt on a par 3 after finding the green off the tee! Two tier green with pin located craftily just on top tier, as follows:
1. Putt up the hill wasn't hard enough and rolled back to my feet. Mildly annoyed.
2. Made sure and whacked it up the hill about 12ft past. Annoyed now.
3. Over hit perfectly flat putt 2ft past..... It stopped..... And then trickled down the hill to where I was standing a minute ago. Angry.
4. Back up the hill to two feet.
5. Holed out, just! Wildly livid now.

Is anyone this bad or just me? i normally only 3 putt once or twice in a round and normally a consistent 2 putt.

If it's any consolation, I 4 putted a green many years ago at Blackmoor. The 3rd putt was a 2 foot tap in which I carelessly didnt line up or take a stance, hence the miss and the pin position was on a stupid slope, and a herd of buffalo were roaming just passed the green so that put me off too.

A thread after my own heart, despite my putting having improved with Bob's V-easy I still have bad days, several time in match play I have had putts under 10 feet to win holes only to take 3 and lose it. I guess I get over excited and the adrenaline makes me hit it too hard.

I had a 5 putt on a par 3 from 3 feet once.

Not long after I purchased a V-Easy, now my trickshot is to hole out with my driver from 3 feet!

I remember a 13 I once had... Dry period and the greens were playing fast on the par 3 6th hit a 3 iron from 190 uphill to the middle of the green. Cracking shot and fancied a birdie, missed the putt which caught the slope and rolled off the front of the green to 20 yards away, putted back up, missed and the ball rolled back to my feet.

9 shots later I finally holed out, stupid slopey mickey mouse greens with holes on impossible positions, not a single flat spot within 6 feet of the hole!

I told the guy in the pro shot and he said pretty much every group had complained and he was going to have a word with the green staff!

I somehow managed to get on a par 5 in two and walked off with a 6. First putt I sent off the green then I putted back. Then had a 3 foot lipped out and tap in for a 6 haha. No put was more than 12foot which is worse haha...
Too say I was disappointed with a 6is an understatement only ever had 2eagle putts other one was about 50foot haha

Not mine but great all the same. One of the guy's in my sweep 3 putted from 1". Rolled his first putt up to 1" walked up annoyed at it not going in and hit it to hard, hit the back of the hole and it went 2 1/2 foot passed then missed the return. 4 putts but 3 from 1" has to be the best.

Can honestly say I've never 5 putted although there has been an odd four putt once in a while. Sounds like the greenkeepr was having a bad day when he put that pin in

I putted as badly as I can remember today. I just couldn't find the line. Still only took 29 to get round but it could have been much, much lower.

In answer to the op. I remember 4 putting a 2 tier green a while back. Would have been a 3 putt but i missed from 6"

Last week after the tad wet weather,par 4 stuck 2nd shot within half inch of the hole,cert birdie.......grrrrrr no

Thinking of my playing partners as water was few mm from the brim of the hole i tried to just trickle it in so the water didnt come over......made the stroke and just brushed the ball and it didnt drop arrrrrrrgh,and non of the others saw it as they were sorting there putts out and called it on myself,but still managed to win by a point:whoo:

Sounds like a normal day for me. Why is it not supposed to be this way? Lol
