Your favorite shot.

You mean one of these!

Another good idea too late. ;)

A high pitch shot off wet grass into fog that is thick enough for the ball to dissappear completely at the mid point of its trajectory, slight drizzle of rain on moderate breeze straight into my face; holding my finish in the distinctively eerie silence of a deserted course until well after I have heard the dull thud of my ball striking closely mown turf, the only other sound being my own steady breathing and the babbling of unseen running water somewhere in the distance.

Are you on drugs??

A stiffed wedge shot from inside 100yds, especially to get up and down for par. I practice distance control with half and 3/4 wedge shots quite a bit and there's no better feeling than getting it right on the course

I'm with you Hawkeye, no better feeling, specially after the age thing has cut my drives down to size and are now frustratingly ordinary ;)

Any shot not resulting in a reload. I don't think I can pick a specific as I've hit some very good ones (no honestly) from all sorts of different lies and in in various scenarios. For me it's a shot I decide to take on that executes exactly as I wanted it too whether thats a booming (250 yard) drive or a wedge stone dead

I'm a difficult person to please. Even a good shot could always be better, so unless it goes into the hole, I'm never very happy!! Which does bring me to my favourite shot. The pitch or chip in. I've probably had more than my fair share of them, but it's the only time that I really feel delighted, but only if it saves the hole, not if its for an eight.

Id go with either a booming drive, dead straight or a touch of draw, miles down the fairway in front of a packed tee box or an mid/long iron approach to the green that you catch perfect and pose with the club at the top of the followthrough to admire.

I do like a rescue wedge shot from down a steep banked green too though. They're probably more satisfying as you've got yourself out of trouble but they're less fun than the other 2 above.

Which shot gives you the most joy from pulling off?

When Lord Bobmac of V-Easy is standing behind you on the 10th tee, video camera rolling, and you totally mash one down the middle :D

........................... and breathe!
