I recently bought a Mizuno JPX (25 degree) utility from Chesfield Downs (see previous post). Having recently joined a new club (Welwyn Garden) with long par 3's I felt a 'wood' rather than iron might serve me more accurately.

So today was its first outing. I left the 4 and 5 irons in the car and stepped onto the 10th. Hit my drive and then used the JPX. Would I be disappointed? Would I have any regrets? No, not at all. Went exactly where I wanted it. Used on the par 4 11th - great distance and flight. Then came the first of the long par 3's. Took two balls, both pin high if a little right. How happy am I! The new club is so far (played 9 holes) doing all that I wanted it do; long may our relationship flourish.

I trust all your new clubs serve you well and there are no disappointments or regrets.

New clubs come with magic dust on them, is does not last for ever and then your left with your skill :o

I got a new Hybrid last night, no idea what I got it but as soon as I hit it I fell on love. What a solid bit of kit. Looks like I will be selling my old TM Hybrids soon.
