Hi guys,
Played in the medal yesterday... Iffy golf but managed to shoot 90, 1 under handicap so not all bad! Anyway, I played with 2 guys both with electric trolleys. They were both youngish, mid 30's and had all the gear
I had a go with one of the trolleys and it is soo easy to use, love the idea of just walking alongside my clubs with no effort!
Haha, i know i would feel very lazy and at the moment i am not considering one, but maybe in the future!

SO what do you think... Juniors with electric trolleys...

I gave my eleven year old son my old electric trolley the other week, it makes a big difference for him when lugging his clubs around. Needless to say, I'm OK with it....

If a junior cant carry a set of clubs in a lightweight bag round 18 holes, there's something wrong with them.

Yeah you are right, but i think it would be money better spent on lessons, or a new driver!

we don't agree on much bob but im behind you 150% on this, from 12 years old i caddied at weekends for extra cash, bags back then where 10 times heavier than now, then fill them with heavier clubs and more junk in the bang than needed i still carried and never used a trolley.

To me a Kid with a electric trolley has just eliminated the only part of the golf game that is physical on the body, you may as well drive him to each shot in a buggy just so he doesnt get tiered.

At the weekend we let as 11 year old join in with us for the last few holes. now he wasnt a big 11 by any means but he had 3/4's of a set of club in a light weight stand bag and he was fine.

I can comfortabley carry with a full stand bag with waterproofs, but i prefer to use a push trolley.

A question that is asked a lot but at the end of the day it's your choice fella. I just this weekend purchased a brand spanking new GoKart trolley, I'm 27 years old. If people want to take the mickey out of me for having one then so be it, I don't care, the fact of the matter is, when it's 30 degrees outside and they have a huge bag on their back and are sweating their nuts off, panting as they walk up a hill and get to the end of a round thinking thank god it's over, I'll be ripe, fresh and ready for more!

So I am presuming that you are also an advocate of sending small boys up chimneys to clean them, it seemed to work ok years ago.

If someone has an electric trolley does it add shots to my round? No, that's why it doesn't bother me, it's not my business!!!

I'm yet to get mine through yet(just got the despatch email telling me it'll be here tomorrow) but having read loads of reviews it's probably one of the best trolleys available at the moment and it's nowhere near as expensive as the Motocaddy's or Powakaddy's of the world. The customer service is second to none, they look pretty funky and are unique as well which is always good. I was toying with the idea of a push trolley or a Motocaddy S1 or cheaping out and getting a Linden or Powerbug but the GoKart was just too tempting, everyone who's got one raves about them.

Make sure if you buy one to put me down as your referral, we'll both get a voucher if you do!

Definitely nay! (although my opinion may be influenced by the fact that mine went terminally 'phut' a couple of weeks ago and I can't afford a new one).

Having said that, maybe they should have them - if I happen to come across a weedy 11 year old being dragged along by a new Powakaddy Sport I may just mug him for it.

Yes but those children sit on their fat arses being fed crap by their parents who are just as obese while playing video games every minute of the day. The children or "juniors" we are talking about play a sport which involves walking 4 or 5 miles every time they play, with or without a trolley, thats a lot more exercise than the fat kids get!

I agree it's better than nothing but I still dont agree they should be driven to the course, dragged round 9/18 holes by their Go Kart and then driven home again.
I used to get more excercise than that just walking to school and back with a schoolbag full of books.
