Yang shows age is (almost) no barrier

Here's a thought: Yang started playing golf at the same age McIlroy is now. He didn't take the game seriously until his 20s and here he is winning a major

Harrington only started playing golf at 14 or 15.

Are there any other golfers who were 'old' when they started and not born with a driver in their mitts?

I couldn't believe it when I read he only started playing golf at 19...then turned pro 5 years later! Some people are just born with it I guess.

I'm 47 and been playing just a year, guess i'll be up there too....

Although I did have one of those Arnold Palmer things when I was a kid, so maybe not.
