wrenched my neck

Played in a pairs betterball yesterday but before we started i wrenched my neck warming up in the nets,i couldnt turn my neck very well at all during the match but i played brilliant i wonder if it was because i couldnt hit flat out.However the downside is i now cant move my neck and im hoping it recovers in time for Beau desert.Anybody else played with a injury and played better?

I've had a dodgy left hand for the last 3 months and I've played all the way through it. Some shots hurt like hell but I've played some of my best golf - and some of my worst...

Bloody hell - talk about coincidence!!

I pulled something in my neck just before I played on Saturday. I'd love to say it was while warming up but it was getting my gear of of the car!!

I decided to play in the hope that the exercise would loosen in up - how wrong. Spent all day Sunday with a heat pad and some Deep Heat trying to keep it moving - still painful today.

But, just like you I found my ball was going straighter while I was swinging gingerly. My score was 46 over a par 33 9 holes. I'm normally very happy with 42-45 (handicap of 27) so I though 46 was very respectable.

I came in 2nd at our comp on friday with a pulled muscle in my ribs.

Unfortunately Ive just spent the last 3 days in bed and probably cant play for a while, but yes I wasnt trying to hard and I played really well

I know mate thought i would get one in early,its slowly getting better and im hoping it clears up by thursday,however whatever it feels like i will be there,look forward to seeing you play.

I've ricked my neck and can't seem to shake it off. If I go for a full head turn either side it hurts. Feels like something wants to click but wont

I tore a muscle in my neck quite badly a couple of months ago, somehow when it's healed it left me with a trapped nerve and I now have at best pins and needles and at worst shooting pains up and down my left arm. I haven't played at all for just over a month, not even a range session. After a couple of swings of the club in the garden I'm either in agony or have no feeling at all in my left arm.

I've had loads of tests done at the hospital, including some neurology tests which had me seriously crapping myself, but fortunately it's something that will go either with rest and physio or at worst an operation.

Beau Desert should be fun, someone could end up with a one armed caddy
