No wonder I'm not playing any Golf at the moment. Just looked at Metcheck for the coming week and from Wednesday down here they are forecasting horrific temperatures of -8 or -9 at night.

The ground will be like the Arctic - permafrost!!!

Metcheck has it down as feeling like -6 through to -2 tomorrow daytime so that should be a bit fesh for my game wit HTL. Still a base layer, roll neck jumper, woollen jumper hat and mittens will see me right. I'm just happy to get out for a game at weekends especially with the return to work for the first time since before Christmas looming on Monday.

Thursday not feeling better than -5 and thats at midday!

Think I might have to leave it this weekend then if it's going to be that cold! I've got a cold as it is and missed a game today, bloody weather! bloody aches and pains!

a good base layer makes such a difference, it means you can still swing. I got a couple of under armours in the last AG sale before christmas.

I was meant to be playing today but HID has come down with my flu so had to kick todays game into touch . Lets hope shes ok for the weekend .

Played today, no frost, but still on temps, Grrr. Already know tomorrow will be on temps, as the greenkeeper has said so, even if we have a heat wave. Still, forecast is bad for tonight, and we have our swindle xmas do tomorrow, and then England v the rest on Sunday. Temps all the way. I would rather they shut the course.

Haven't got a day off now until the week after next, when according to Metcheck it's going to reach the heady heights of 9 degrees.
I may well get out then 'cos I should be over this bloody cold/flu (finally)...
