Hi Gang well i got out for the 1st time this year, just a quick knock on the local par 3, but it was good to get out & hit a few balls, even tho the timing was a bit off.

I have sent off my application to Join Halstock golf club, so the season is off and running for me, hope you all have a good 1, and look fwd to sharing & exchanging with you all, any 1 in Dorset up for a game give me a yell.

Sun? Ah, is that what that big shiny thing in the sky is? It looks important. I will remove my animal skins and worship it as a god.

I wonder if it will return tomorrow. Perhaps it will bring me luck and I can catch another bear. Sun. you say? Sounds as good a word as any. Maybe I'll use that, too. I'll suggest it to the tribal elders. They may have seen it before. I'm only 42, you see.

I was down the range yesterday in a base layer, golf short and jumper and had to stop and take the base layer off after about ten minutes as I was really warm. It was like a Spring day. Naively I only put a short and jumper on this morning and was much colder. Bloody weather.

Was a gorgeous morning for my 18 yesterday near Poole.

Question though - if you are in Weymouth why have you joined Halstock - it's nearer to Yeovil isn't it?

Only had 12 or so holes open on one course and the other course closed today! I went on the practice ground and battled on through the intermittent showers- it was well worth it as I was striking the ball beautifully. My short game was appalling though I couldn't pitch it close to save my life and so gave up practicing assuming it to be a random off day- and the putting greens were closed so I couldn't practice that either.

Maybe this is what happens to Sergio and why he is so relliant upon his long game

Had an enjoyable 18 holes on saturday-weather brillant for this time of year. We are lucky in playing full tees abd greens all year around, we did lose a few weekends due to frost/snow recently.

Played well, 36 points with 3 blobs, a couple of birdies helped.
