It's local to you, is a good test of golf and the price is right. Would you join?

Yes, because I am there to play golf so if it was a good course well priced I would definately join. But if the same course with the same prices also had lady members I would be just as likely to join.
The only problem would be the members as if they are voting to not allow women to join I could imagine they would be very much up their own a*** And this may put me off as I would only join a club with a friendly, welcoming atmosphere.

Every club I have been a member of has women members but pitifully few of them and most of pensionable age who play mideweek only. The feel of the clubs has therefore been male only anyway as it is the men who are there most of the time when I am. I voted yes, not because it was male only but because it does not bother me either way and if the club was right for me that was more important.

A fully integrated club would be ideal as I have come across those in other sports and they are great but I have yet to truly be in one of those so far for golf.

Whilst I play most of our mixed club matches, and the club has absolutely no restrictions on sex (or junior status) on course or within competition fields, if a better option existed that happened to be single sex it wouldn't make any difference to me.

Personally I believe that nominally mixed clubs that act as if they are single sex are far far worse!

Sausagefest....

I voted yes but only because like others have said its about course quality and price!

A golf club has a better dynamic and atmosphere though with different ages and sexes in my opinion and probably feels less stuffy and more welcoming as a result

it depends,,,if there only male members allowed,,, i say def...no :)

if female members is allowed,,,maybee---its depends if they like to hold the stick while putting :D

Yes. When I consider whether to join a club, whether they allow ladies, juniors or folks to walk their dog whilst playing are considerations that are a long way down the list.

Two clubs both perfectly meeting my needs, close together.... but one refuses ladies.... then I'll join the other one.
