Well after wednesdays 69 was not expecting much from my game today.

Anyway medal on, but very windy, cold and hail stones on and off so myself and my 3 reg playing partners decided not to bother. As two of the guys are off 3 and my partner off 5 again we were sobjected to a scratch game, which we usually get humped in.

Not today won 6 and 5 and i shot a gross 71 with 5 birdies....

Bugger... off the whites too.

Different i would say, today was more about putting if I had putted on we'd like I did today it could have been a 65. Where as wed I put a lot of shots close

Not sure you can put it down to being free of the medal shackles but it seems like a missed opportunity. Great golf and not the cut it deserved. Good play though

are your greens in great nick? ours are like a giant rolled out golf ball. bobbles everywhere. they are not taking the breaks properly and bouncing from the minute it leaves the putter. i played my bros course on thursday and their greens were perfect. i felt like i could actually hole any putt if i got the line and pace right? i wont be taking my putting to seriously until this gets sorted out.
