I was considering putting maiden and Saxon in my "best" list .... Each to his own :)

Saw the adverts at friars aylesbury way back , they were bad

I saw Fatboy Slim live once at a festival. Didn't get it. The guy puts a record on and then hits play. Oooooooh.

Eric Clapton at the Glasgow Apollo about 1979. Out of his skull, barely coherent, disappointingly sloppy guitar playing and he eventually got bood off after about an hour.

Really? Seen the a few times and they've never disappointed. Two worst I've seen were Fleetwood Mac and the Rolling Stones; Jagger threw the biggest hissy fit going over the fact that, on a night when England were playing West Germany in a World Cup semi final, people would dare to show any interest in something other than him.

A band called starbase 109 who supported the Stranglers at Glasgow academy in about 2008 - utterly bizarre, youtube them, I dare you.

The horrors when on the NME Indie tour a few years back (with Mumm-ra, the view and the automatic) their set was utterly abysmal, granted the pa was rubbish that night but jesus!!!

That was nothing compared to Des O'Connor , second house, Friday night, Glasgow Empire, June 18th 1976. Road kill had nothing on it.

Morrissey!!

Never been a fan of him but i was at Leeds festival back in the day and he was on the main stage on the Sunday night and we couldn't be arsed to move form our spot.

I was cold, wet, been drinking solid for 4 days and had hardly any sleep.

Listening to him whinge on for over an hour nearly sent me under!
