As it's Father's Day today I decided to get my Dad a subscription to GM.

I clicked on the link at the top of the Forum page and proceeded to the GM subsription offers:

6 months direct debit is £23 so £46 a year.

A years subscription paid outright is £49!

Why is the six month option £3 cheaper?

I subscribed to the iPad version but don't think you get any balls. Also it comes out later than the posted version....not sure why

I would be worried about reading it in the bath though
