I've just picked up my new mizuno jpx pro irons from clubhousegolf so after my tea i'm going to head down the practice ground to hit a few balls then play a couple of balls and about 6 holes. Can't wait.

I know the feeling, I've just had a mail from my clubmaker telling me my new KBS shafts have gone in, I cannot wait to get them back. I hope yours go great for you, I fancy some myself actually, let us know how they are mate.

how have you spec'd the jpx pro's? Im waiting for my jpx pro's to arrive from clubhousegolf this week. KBS tour stiff shafts and 1/2 inch longer. standard lie and loft. Can't wait.. plus, if you order through the website, they conveniently forget to charge you for the 3 iron and the upgraded grips.. lovely..

Enjoy. They are a great club and one of the best feeling irons I've hit in ages. I spent the end of 2010 very torn between getting a set of I15's which I'd had my eye on since a Ping demo day and the JPX800 Pro which I tried at a local range. In the end I decided I was changing for changing sake and the TM TP's weren't doing too bad

I've also just picked up my brand new tools of the trade...MP53s DG100!! I just sat staring at them last night....loving the wonder of their shininess...anyway, this afternoon I, cough, 'worked from home' in order to give them their first outing. Just lovely...strong flight...and shiny....

The trouble is I just have to get a new bag to match the new clubs!!

Well after a few balls on a busy practice ground i decided to hit the course and play a few holes.

It was pretty busy and very windy but i was striking the ball well with them. What i did notice i was getting a higher ball flight than i did with my mp30s ( DGTT s300) although i wasn't losing distance.

I've got a matchplay singles game friday and a doubles matchplay game saturday so hopefully i will see improving results over the next few weeks.

Bluewolf, i ordered them 2 weeks last tuesday spec was 1 deg upright, kbs tour shafts, mizuno multi compound grips, but i was told 10 working days when i ordered them.

Ordered mine before Xmas and recieved them after about a week, 5 to pw PX 6.0

Thought i'd then get myself the 4 iron, that took like 3 weeks. Out of stock apparently.

Well after yesterdays defeat in my singles match and i struck the ball well tee to green, i had a doubles match today which we won 4&3 after being 2 down after 2.

I'm hitting these irons easily a club less with great consistancy and a lovely feel.

50% win rate upto now with the new sticks and a medal comp to play tomorrow hoping for my game to click.
