Woodhall Spa

Loved playing at woodhall in the KOK year. Unfortunately didn't take my A game and it sure beat me up! Only highlight was paring the par 3's, no mean feat! Would love to go back again.

Do you have a sense of humour?

Actually I do, look at the earlier posts about colouring in, obviously that's passed you by as you only read what you want to. Maybe you don't like the fact that I had a go back at your friend and that's why you posted your comment back..... That's why I posted the cavalry post as certain few seem to stick together and round up on individuals on this forum. IMO of course, A certain 'few' others on this forum I couldn't careless about.

Apologies but your humour comes across as sarcasm. And yes, a 'certain few' of us do stick together. Hard to put a number on that 'certain few' but at a rough guess I would say it's several hundred people. And that's mainly because we make the effort to meet up, play together, have a laugh and generally get to know each other. Bit like a golf club really. You should try it, everyone is welcome

I didn't think you were having a go back at me for what it's worth. Plus my colouring does stray over the lines still.

Please don't use the term "golf friend" I just see The Inbetweeners sketch in my head ;)

How the heck did it turn into posts of people having cheap digs at others ?!

Anyway - hope everyone has a great day , I could be joining you all but need to see what else is planned

i can't comment on something I've not experienced so the inbetweeners sketch has gone over my humourless head.

I appreciate your comment tho, for what it's worth my view about having a go back at, wasn't directed to you in any way.

As for the problem of straying from the lines, if you have kids, let them show you how it's done. :D

I'm fairly sure it was Lincoln Quaker that was the first to talk about cheap digs. And curry.

That was genius!!

Still waiting to hear about the cheap digs though.......I'm hoping to stay at Quaker Palace for £2.50, (including full English of course)

Try Drivepoint Darren, it takes everything into consideration including break, speed, wind, humidity, ball compression and type of insert on the putter face.

Works every time mate

I love Drivepoint. I have always wanted a sextant and this was the green light to get one. The way that lay lines are used to control a high fade is also quite brilliant. And the incorporation of semaphore into the golf swing is an absolute delight. Drive point really does save me shots and it only adds an hour to the round too - cheap at twice the price.

I also love cavalry. And have a sense of humour. Playing in the wind at Hayling last week necessitated having one actually.

Oh but your sense of humour comes across as sarcastic according to your new golf technique drive point!!! But alas drive point has been superseded by a new concept and its just Signed up the latest golf sensation and new Masters champion.

WindPoint.............

No, you have it all wrong!

Drivepoint is used on the greens, Windpoint is used on the tee/fairway.

Used together they make an unbeatable combination :D

Hmmm yeah I do admit I have it all wrong, I should join the caviars and post the same points of views on the same subjects..............or is it better to be an individual!

Cant stand caviar...........

Actually, you could be onto something here with Windpoint. I now have a mental image in my head of golfers holding fingers up into the sky trying to judge how much the ball will be affected.

Would have been very useful at Hayling on Sunday!
