Winter? No thanks, you can keep it.

We shouldn't have played today in all honesty, is was only by using mobiles were able to do so safely, no real enjoyment seeing your ball disappear after 70 yards and have not aimpoint for shots into greens.

Snap. We resorted to shouting "First fairway clear", "First green clear" etc to the group behind for 18 holes to avoid clouting anyone. Not fun.

Foggy start today in the rollup, but cleared after a few holes,
had to put the air con in the car afterwards as i had a sweat on
only wearing a base layer and a light jumper
car said 17 degrees
long may it last

Down here in Berks we've been fog-bound most of the day with the comp scuppered by a closure around 9 until 11

I was ou in the bike for a few hours this morning, and only at Remenham hill above. Henley did I get above the fog layer. Otherwise, as you say , it has not moved all day.
Went out afternoon with my daughter to a few garden centres and it was really eerie with fog still down

We had this once or twice last year. I love my golf as much as any1 else , sometimes its just not safe to play tho

Warmest ever recorded November day today. Hardly winter conditions...

Fog was weird tho. I played this afternoon in the most fantastic conditions, but as we came up the last hole at 16.30 there was a bank of it following us. By the time we'd cleaned our boots the course was invisible.

Do you have any sort of rules in force with the fog ?

We are not allowed to tee off if you can't see the big oak from the first tee - it's about 200 yards away

Thick fog here this morning....I was in shorts and t shirt teeing off at 6:50am. The legs don't get covered up until December.

Our first is a 230yd par three. If you can't see the flag, then course is closed. Never seen so many people kicking their heels on the putting green hoping for the fog to lift. Which it did about half twelve, about half an hour after the last of us gave it up on the mornining swindle.

Utterly stunning day here, ambled 9 holes in short sleeve shirt this afternoon and wished I had shorts on and a cap not a woolly hat in the bag!!! Impossible to believe it was November. Understand those moaning about the fog, drove through a lot of it late last night, wasnt much fun!

As for playing in the fog when you cant see 100 yards, just crazy imo

Absolutely stunning day for golf today. Played a club match in the afternoon under a clear sky, the low afternoon and setting sun made it achingly beautiful out on the links with all the contours bathed in lovely yellowy-orange sunlight.

Doesn't get much better.

another Cracking day here so far.... working though:(

Wife is on study leave today and at home so can't even sneak out for a few holes at Lunchtime!!

I was on a hole and could not see the green in any fashion with 68 yards to go on my gps. Klaxon spoiled all my fun after that...first time I've ever parred that par 5 as well.
