Winter Golf

Golf doesnt stop just cos its a little colder and a tad wetter. I play the same amount as through the summer but probably practice a little less.

If its frosty we go to temp greens thats all , and some parts of the course go off limits cos its too wet but so what? Youve still got to get the little white ball in the hole and its nice fresh air

OK, the downsides are rain/mud/wind/temp greens, but it's still golf, the banter is good, you can still take a couple of quid off your mates - and after a hot shower, a bowl of soup and a couple of pints, all is well with the world.....and it beats shopping with HID.

Our course is closed usually mid December til mid February unless whether is exceptionally mild. I spend a week or two in warmer countries and use an indoor driving range once a month.
