Went for this one for Xmas day

So what did everyone drink on the big day?
I started off with some Shampoo
Then Meursault with the starter
Claret with main course
Tokaji with the pud

Tesco Finest Cava. £7.50 per bottle.
Don't judge me. It was delicious.

I went on the champagne trail before settling back on the Malbec. I must say that this Aldi champagne is very good. We polished this and then a much dearer Veuve Clicquot and tbh i think the Aldi one was better

Naked wine got an offer of 6 wines for £19.99, but I guess there's a subscription involved.
Im considering this as an option . There is a majestic in Canterbury but don't know if they offer any deals ?

Gutted I never felt like starting with a Buck’s Fizz. So i started with a Cuppa tea. Opened the Barolo for dinner and it tasted rammel. Had a Valpocella a Couple of days ago.Same thing. Don’t know if COVID had owt to do with it

Naked wine got an offer of 6 wines for £19.99, but I guess there's a subscription involved.

I’ve heard some iffy things about naked wines.
Majestic is quite good for learning about wines, and do have some decent offers.

Bollinger on wake up
Puligny-Montrachet with the starters.
And a really decent 2017 Pomerol from Aldi


Only problem being alone, by the end of the day I was ruddy pissed!

I’ve heard some iffy things about naked wines.
Majestic is quite good for learning about wines, and do have some decent offers.

Tried naked, wasnt hugely impressed with the quality of the wines

personally I try and shop around depending on whatever deals are about when the cupboard starts to run dry, 25% off 6 is pretty standard promo across the supermarkets these days

I didn't have wine, but I did have the most amazing port. Andresen late bottle vintage 2014 from Laithwaites. It's lovely... but sadly almost finished!
Quinta Dao Crasto is the next bottle I'll be trying. Farmshop next to the golfclub is flogging them, so I'll pop in tomorrow.

Like I said before, my best recommendation would be to run the gamut of Sainsbury’s Taste the Difference range.(Or another supermarket’s top range).
At home, my old man has: haut medoc, Barossa valley cab sav, barolo, Burgundian white, Burgundian red, Priorat

All very nice and value for money

£4.99 in Asda at the moment. Great value at that price.

I picked up a bottle of 19 Crimes last night. Had it plenty times before. First mouthful, I thought this is off, second mouthful was worse. Looked at the label and saw that it was infused with coffee!
What’s that about?

The rest went down the sink, it was vile.

We got the details of the wine retailer that the local pub uses as nobody else had delivery slots in lockdown 1. Used them ever since. Pay £20 a month into an account and get the money to spend plus a discount on every bottle. As they are local, delivery is free and next day

Is that a recent thing with Naked, when I tried it (admittedly a few year ago) I thought it was independent
