Will Westwood win The Open tomorrow yes/no

Bizarre thing to say....Lee has had great support from the crowds all week from what i've seen.

Yes.....something different about Lee this week. Made some great putts at key moments. Can't see anyone doing 67 or less so a 70, even a 71 should be enough.

theres nothing bizarre about my post, Read the posts for many months previous about LW, not what the crowds think this week, but what many posters have ridiculed him for, predominantly from the "informed" northern area.
Really hope he proves what a lot of people have thought for a while.

Those posters are not just Scottish though...and there were probably just as many englishman hoping Murray didn't win.

Why turn everything into Scotland V England?

I saw Lee at close quarters today and the only person stopping him winning is him, I think his name is on the jug, I really do.

Tiger has been pretty conservative and although capable of winning he won't if he plays as he has, he won't over take Westwood if Westwood keeps going as he has.

Great day ahead tomorrow

I am really hoping if Tiger finds himself 2 or 3 behind with 9 to play he will go for it.

History suggests he won't though....

And that is the crux of the matter, If Westwood can overcome his demons on the final stretch, he can win. I suspect though that Tiger will be more aggressive tomorrow.

As I said, you may need to search many many LW previous posts, hope he wins and puts a few know alls to bed.

So anybody with a negative opinion about Westwood is a knowall??

I don't think he'll win it because of his previous consistently bottling it on tour.

I think Tiger will win, though he's never won a tournament coming from behind so that will be a 1st when he does it!

And I backed Tiger @ 10/1 aswell ;)

I would like to see him win although I also wounldnt mind seeing Woods take it.

Hope to catch last hour or so after tomorrows medal, with a few nice chilled beers, and really looking forward to the finish.

Interestingly seems to be a lot more birdies being made by the early starters today, may well be a chance someone does shoot a 66/67ish type round today unless the wind picks up, you'd have to think theres slightly more chance someone comes out of the pack based on that

Any player within +2 can win this, Jason Dufner just shot a 67 in his last round.I think too many people are thinking a Westwood or Tiger win when theres 10 who could do it.

He has had umpteen chances to win tournaments in the past but his putting has let him down.
Now he can putt, there's no reason why he can't win.
The only person who can beat him is himself. A bad bounce early doors or a lip out could dent his fragile confidence and change the way he looks at the round.
A good break and a few solid putts will hopefully spur him on to a win.
It's all in the first few holes.
if the golfing gods are with him and he keeps putting well, no-one will beat him.
And as I said on another post, at one of his interviews, he just looks happy this week. :)

He sounds pretty confident on the radio just now, if a little excited.

I'd love to see him do it.

That said, i'd get a buzz out of watching Tiger roll in a winning putt too.
