Will Westwood win The Open tomorrow yes/no

I've said for years that Westwood would never win a major. Not that I don't want him to, I just thought his putting would never be good enough. However, he looks different this week and the sunshine is making me optimistic, so I'll say

Yes.

If not him, then I hope Stevie Williams makes it 15 majors with Tiger watching close by ;)

Sounds good to me. ;)

I have said all along that he will never win a major.

After watching him live today I will say that I really think he can as long as he doesn't get too many tricky chip shots.

His putting was immense, his ball striking superb.

I think he may well prove me and many others wrong and really hope he does.

He shoots 70 and someone has to shoot 67 to beat him.
Not been many 67's or less this week.

Hes a big price to shoot 70 on day 4 leading the open too, expect there will be a few tricky pins, he wont get the breaks he had today and will need to continue to putt out of his boots. Recent tournaments his putting especially in round 4 has been highly suspect where he doesnt get it running at the hole and gets very defensive, be interesting to see which Westwood turns up on the greens tomorrow and ultimately will decide what chance he has.

love to him win, will cost me money if he does and dont expect him too

I'd like to say yes, I think if he's Going to choke he'll do it early on. If he's still leading after 9 then I reckon he can seal the deal.

I'll be surprised if Woods starts chasing it early on, I reckon he'll be happy on Westwoods shoulder waiting to see if he can handle it.

Ive got a few quid on a win for Woods but I'll still be happy to see Westy lift the Claret Jug!

Is it Westwood & Woods in the final group or is he with Mahan?

Really hope he does, lets hope the Scottish contingent have as much support as we did for murray. Somehow I doubt that.

Bizarre thing to say....Lee has had great support from the crowds all week from what i've seen.

Yes.....something different about Lee this week. Made some great putts at key moments. Can't see anyone doing 67 or less so a 70, even a 71 should be enough.

I'm happy to admit I've ridiculed Westwoods short game and in the not to distant past. But he has held it together his week and putted superbly when really needed. His long game has always been superb so I really do hope he can just go out and continue in the same vein.

So i'm going to say YES
