Why Oh Why..............

Don't do it! I'll never buy an off the shelve club again since getting custom fit....

Also, they won't like it at the Ridge! Lol

Never had a CF on my driver though I did with my irons. I quite like the outlandish colouring of it and maybe even the Orange AMP Cell.

Hmmm not like it at the Ridge, yet to play my first round since paying up my subs Thursday do they not like garish colours there. Maybe i'll crack out the Loudmouths and som hideous shirt & jumper combo to announce myself then to shake it up a bit.

WHere do you play if you don't mind me asking Sybez

Lol that would make for a perfect "welcome" I reckon!

Anywhere I can really. I like Woodlands Manor. Played the Ridge last year, some nice holes, and good practice facilities....[/QUOTE]

That was the clincher for mer the quality of the facilites especially considering the price they are offering it at with the offer on for a limited period of no joining fee and half price monthly subs for the first 50 people taking up the deal.

You ever fancy a knock down the Ridge again you know where to find me.

Looks good to me , might be loud in colour, bet it's not as loud as my Hi-bore, the things deafening in a range with a corrugated iron roof

Fader, if it helps I'm gaming the 9.5head with motors f1 stiff, could meet you at a range between us sidcup/pedham if you fancy a whack before purchasing

Have they still got that par three that plays over the road?

As for the driver, Lord only knows, can't stand this craze for different colours, black, midnight blue or a wooden finish please; nothing else looks right to me.

There's 2! The 10th is uphill about 100ft and plays around 155yrds, and the 18th is back down hill at around 175yrds.... 18th is mega, serious air time on the ball and in trepidation as to where its going to land. The greens only 20 paces wide and long!

Thanks Fader will take you up on that at some point.

Be the 18th then, the 10th, The Eiger, is all one side of the road, it's the 18th that you actually have to carry the public road.

Sadly I'm old enough to remember when they were the 1st & the 9th, never understood why they reversed those 9's.

Oddsocks, may just have to take you up on that offer of a whack, theres a decent enough range at both those places.

Bez, no worries just give me a pm when you fancy a game and i'll get you signed in

Some great holes down the bottom now though. I would say the course would play easier the other way round as you less tired to walk up the mountain (Eiger)

Where do you play now?

The great holes down the bottom were the back 9 then and a much better finish imo than those up the top of the hill and that par 3, but that's just my thoughts.

I grew up in Petts Wood so have played at Woodlands Manor, Sundridge Park, Chislehurst, Langley Park, West Kent, High Elms, Royal Magpie (if you know it you'll get the joke), Cherry Lodge, Shortlands and Eltham Warren over my younger years.

Since getting married I moved over to Worcester Park, I was at Banstead Downs as a member but have now joined Cuddington.
