Fair play.
I like to vent my frustration sometimes,just makes me feel better.

Interesting to read a lot of the moan threads that then say their game goes to pot after getting wound up about the situation.

My 4somes partner lives a moan, normally the levels are directly proportionate to how he is hitting it. Fortunately, being 4somes, we only need meet on the green

I would rather read a moan from someone on an interesting subject than sift through some of the utterly turgid posts that are full of the joys of spring.

E.g. What do you have in your pockets when you play golf? Surely the most banal and worthless question of the month?! I really wanted to reply to this and in attempt to liven it up, say that I carried a red PVC dildo on the front 9 and a vial of desiccated human adrenal gland on the back 9 but didn't as I thought it might earn me another infraction. Not sure if dildo is a banned term on the forum though????

I bother because I genuinely love the game and all that comes with it....meeting new people, playing different courses, trying new gear, shooting good scores, bemoaning my luck on the bad rounds.

It helps that Im also a glass half full guy and only ever remember my good shots

I think if you're the kind of person that joins an online forum then you're the kind of person who a) wants to talk about stuff b) wants to read about stuff. That's not a bad thing..... but it will lead to talking/reading about the most pathetic things, at times. Sometimes even talking about the same things over and over and over and over and over and over and over again.

I would prefer to see a gripe above a "How do you tie your shoe laces"
