Snow that is....
We have a couple of inches and everything's ground to a halt.
Still coming down and not expected to stop any time soon.
Could put paid to any golf for the week as the temperatures not expected to get much above freezing....

Yep about a couple of inches and still a light flurry coming down - I’m sure once everyone has got over the excitement the annoyance of the stuff will kick - hopefully will be able to get into work in the morning. Rain on Wednesday should wash away the snow and thankfully none down at Hankley so should be ok for Wednesday

Three inches of it on the rear terraces..

Her Eucalyptus looks quite magnificent snowclad as do the potted Olive bushes...

Bird feeders will need topping up regularly as the little fellas have already emptied them this morning...
Without any help from the squirrels...

I worked at home on Friday because of the snow that came down on Thursday night. Friday saw more snow showers but the depth didn't increase much. Plenty came down on Friday night and yesterday morning. Clear blue sky today but below freezing. Depth; probably to the top of the kerb, but where the wind has blown it its about a foot.

Our central heating wouldn't fire up yesterday morning. I diagnosed low gas pressure and called out the gas board. They were out and replaced the regulator in gas cabinet on the outside wall. All fixed and up and running in less than 2 hours from the initial call.

I snowed here yesterday but it didn't stay for long, the forecast for today was terrible, so the club cancelled the Sunday carvery, which I was looking forward to...
and now today there is no sign of any snow!

We have none.

I have lived in South Somerset for over 30 thirty years and there has only been about 5 years when we have had significant snow. We do not have to travel very far North, East or West to get very different weather.

Mind you the course is closed today because of the amount of rain we got last night. Glad I got a round in yesterday.

About 3 inches so far round here (Cambridge/Suffolk border) still bucketing it down and forecast to continue all day.

Meetings in Wakefield and Rotherham tomorrow morning looking less likely by the hour.........

Chesham Bucks, 6 inches and still falling, although smaller flakes than earlier. most snow I have seen here since about 2010. its not forecast to get above 1 degree C until the back half of the week, so its going to hang around for a few days

Just been out to clear the car - over 7 inches on top of it and the roads out of the estate are thick snow - but can see it melting away from the car and bins etc

The worst thing though is the good old suv drivers who suddenly believe they are indestructible- one has skidded into a white van across the road
