who would be your legend?

Listening to talksport today,they were saying how overused the word is (legend) regarding sportsmen(women),and you can pick only one from your football teams history,who'd be your one golfing legend id have to go for Jack just over Arnie.

for me its Faldo, grew up watching him and he was always the one I rooted for. I know Seve was awesome but I stand by my choice

it depends what defines legend. In the modern era one would have to say Tiger, pre tiger was Faldo, Norman and pre Faldo was Jack, Arnie, then it was Hogan... they are all legends of the wonderful game of golf

Jack Nicklaus is a legend. Tiger was on his way to being one too but has got a bit lost in recent years. He still has a chance.

I didn't used to watch golf much for the first 10 years of playing, more so the last 10 years.

I still dont have a golf hero/legend, apart from the obvious in the past, who I didn't really follow.

Outside golf, Bill Shankly (surprised) man of the people, successful, great sense of humour and built a football club.
