Wind, rain, sun, cloudy .... which conditions do you hate the most.....

Over the last year iv really noticed how the wind has got up and is ruining my game lol. (I play at Pyle & Kenfig GC in South Wales which is a links course) Im not talking of gentle breeze here it seems that whenever a Saturday comes along and its comp day someone turns the fan up. I know its part and parcel of links golf but sometimes its getting ridiculous... :-(

Just wondered what conditions other hate playing in .....

I find wind challenging, but my least favourite is steady rain.

I carry my clubs so have nowhere to put my umbrella when playing shots, therefore I tend not to use one especially if there's a bit of wind - keeping glove, clubs dry etc is a nightmare and adds about 5 - 10 shots to my round!

Fine drizzle rain the type where it's not heavy enough for waterproof so umbrella up and down. And it's not til you finish you realise how wet you are.

Lightening. Dangerous stuff.

Snow, course closed.

Heavy frost, means we are on temps.

Torrential down pour, course will close due to flooding, but not before I'm soaked.

Hate the rain and cold weather!!!!

When you swing and you think your hands are gonna snap off from being too cold!!!!

Weird one today - sunburn on the first three holes, followed by rain at the turn with a chance of hypothermia as the wind kicked in with the rain on the last three. Doubt that I've seen as many purplely-blue individuals as those coming in later on in shorts and tee shirts.
