I am in the middle of the fairway less than 90yrd to the flag I stand over the ball knowing I could either put it near the flag or shank the thing straight right due to letting my swing get too far inside the line, something I can do under pressure. 98% of the time all goes well but it gets my knees shaking every time.
What shot puts your game under pressure?

At the moment any type of chip shot. I think I've got myself in such a mess with poor technique originally and its now become a mental issue. What I really want to do is spend a few eveneings with the V-Easy and really learn the correct feeling and trusting it. I thought I'd started to see improvement before the back went but I'm guessing it'll go backwards again. I'd hope that a rest might have helped as many on here that have had breaks have come firing out the blocks

Using the driver still pains me a lot. Sometimes spectacular, sometimes depressing. My greenside chipping has gone west recently as well. And the short putting.....

Tee shots with driver in hand. It has always given me a feeling of doubt as it can sonetimes go horribly wrong.
I had a playing lesson today and by the end of the 9 holes I was striking the driver really well and was brimming with confidence.

Hanging lies with the sandwedge
Ball above feet with a sadwedge,
one foot higher than the other lie
sandwedge from the fairway
sandwedge from a compacted bunker lie
sandwedge from a bare lie.

I am shanking my sandwedge 100% of the time at the moment for anything under a full shot.

The only shot that i feel pressure is the short putts as generally they are very important but im improving.Worrying on the tee I.M.O is not so important as you generally have a few shots to recover, hopefully.

3 to 6 feet putts, quite capable of holing them but I seem to feel the pressure on these shots way more than any other shot - think it because I really feel I 'must' hole them.
If I miss too many it just seems such a waste, especially if the long game and approach play is good.

...Must remember to breathe and enjoy putting more, hole or miss.

50-60 yards, downhill lie, muddy conditions.
I would do well to remember a putter from here is almost certainly going to go further.

Other than that; any tee shot with a long club that requires a draw.....I can do it with irons, but not woods.

It was my driving until i swallowed the pride and used the 3 wood off the tee as forum members recommended......Im much straighter and on the short stuff since..... :D

Hmmmm.

My course was playing short on Sunday (winter mats) and I took my old TM R5 Dual ti 3 wood for a try. I hit 13/14 fairways and only used my driver 4 times.....all of which tells me nothing, 'cause the one fairway I missed (on the returning hole fairway!!!) was with the 3 wood not the driver!! arghh....can't win. :)

Still, I'm still smiling from a gross 75. :)

chips with a lob wedge and putting from 3 feet in, freaking hopeless at them to steal a swearword from F1 :(

Yep, sums up mine :(

Used to be anything within 100 yards, but solved that with plenty of practice last year and now expect to get close. Problem now is chips around the green but will be working on as soon as the rain stops. I reckon not getting up and down costs me up to 5 shots a round at the moment

Short chip from a bare lie, over a bunker or water, to a close pin, and with a bunker or water on the other side of the green. Gives me the eby-gby's just thinking about it. :( :(

No probs with anything at the moment apart from one small area that is really winding me up ever since I started playing again.

Bloomin' fairway woods shots...aaarggh

I hit probably one good one in every ten believe it or not. It's so frustrating. In the fairway 230yds to the green on par 5 and boom... blocked right or smothered left. Just cant make those scores my driving deserves and it's driven me to go and see the pro next week (I pride myself on sorting my swing out myself).

Been having a few issues with the once faithful ft5!
I have played the last few rounds with my old tm r5 that i'd given a friend. My nice soft draw was back, I had the r5 cut by and inch, i am thinking of this with the ft5, but reluctant as I was hitting very well until late last summer! everything else is pretty steady...
