You're a bad person 😄. I had this very experience last weekend except I played badly in the cold and rain, played well in the good weather. Saying that, I couldn't hack 5hrs plus every week, my game would suffer normally (we were on an away trip, lovely course so exceptional circumstances).

I don't like the cold but I'll take option 1

Depends who I’m playing with. If it’s someone I really get on with, I’ll stay out. If it’s a complete ‘arris I’ll come off. Being out in the rain doesn’t bother me - decent water proofs, a good brolley, a few gloves and a couple of towels.

What kind of idiots are voting for cold and rain? :ROFLMAO:

You're on a golf course in beautiful sunshine topping up your tan. What's the issue?
According to the poll, I'm playing well, whats with some rain I'm probably wrapped up well.
Where's the joy in a five and a half hour round waiting on every tee and playing poorly?

Though realistically I don't choose to go out if I know the weather is going to be poor throughout , I have sometimes enjoyed playing in bad weather. I rarely enjoy being held up constantly when I'm playing poorly as a result. I have walked off courses more often for really slow play than for bad weather.

I can’t in all honesty vote for either. I really cannot abide playing in cold rain but, equally, I will not be out on a golf course for 5 1/2 hours. I have had rounds ruined in the Algarve when, despite glorious weather, the glacial pace of play has totally spoiled the day.

So neither for me.

What is the temperature for cold? My ideal round is this time of year. I get one of the first couple times off so it starts with temps right around 5/40 but then warms to over 15/60.

If we're talking about a round that's entirely under 5/40 degrees and constant rain I'm not playing.
