Which country or countries would you not visit?

For me and wor lass, Australia does not appeal, not sure why, but also Dubai for many reasons but again it does not appeal.

That written, we both love Canada and Spain and either would be places we would happily holiday in and eventually retire to.

India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Korea, Japan, China, Viet Nam, Malaysia ................ in fact anywhere where I couldn't get food I'd actually eat!

Turkey, Egypt, all of north Africa. South Africa, been before in case anyone wants to eulogise about it, Mexico. I think that covers the main potential holiday destinations. Plenty of other places but they would be obvious to avoid and not be on the option list for most people, i.e. Columbia, Nigeria etc.

I wouldn't do Morocco, Turkey, Egypt, Iran or Saudi. Bahrain was nice, went to Saudi border to say I'd been there but that was as far as I wanted to go. Even Germany and Italy has lost a bit of it's gloss as a destination knowing how dramatically their demographics has changed the last couple of years and the resulting political turmoil.

Turkey and Egypt, been and would not go back in a hurry, sorry will never go back. Even if some golf in Turkey is excellent. India dosent appeal.
Oddly enough, Sri Lanka, Vietnam, Cambodia and Mexicico were excellent which some don't fancy.

Australia and New Zealand hold absolutely no attraction to me.

My wife is definite in not wanting to visit India and yet she, and I, thoroughly enjoyed Sri Lanka.

Ive asked people who've been to Dubai, as it gets raved about and when they list out what to do, it still baffles me.

I'd have no problem visiting the region but it just seems like a big metropolitan city which are the same anywhere in the world. I don't really like cities for that reason.

Wouldn't go to the middle east, or Morocco. Funnily enough the annual golf trip went to Turkey and they raved about it but the caveat was they were warned not to venture into the local town so I guess it depends what you want the holiday to be about.

During my time as a sailor I first visited Dubai in 1990. Went again 6 years later and I couldn't believe how much it had changed. In 1990 it was original with no major tourism except the old markets and souks, but 6 years later it had been Americanized and ruined. The emirates course used to be in the absolute middle of nowhere, now it is surrounded by high rise buildings and hotels. I definitely wouldn't pay to go there nowadays.

Went to some very iffy places amongst the good but the worst place I ever visited was Karachi in Pakistan. When you see dead cows floating past the ship in harbour you know that it is going to be a bad visit.

Have to admit to being very susceptible to risks of violence etc. Middle east, africa etc are no for me. Jamaica is another one I have avoided though happy in other places in the Carribean.

Been to Thailand and would happily try Vietnam and Cambodia. Been to India but that was 25 years ago. Would try Goa or Sri Lanka. Tempted with Central America this year

Australia is superb, scenery, lifestyle, weather, nightlife, remoteness, no language barrier, would genuinely say there is every type of holiday you could want is available, ie, full on or totally relaxed and everything in between.

China - mainly due to the poor air pollution other

Been lucky enough to have been all over the world already - not many left to visit that I want too.
