Didn't you see the John Lewis ad?
It just seems 2016 is that sort of year, I don't think it's going to be remembered for many good things.
relax with Mrs Craigg in front of telly.
Cant wait for the 26th, tree down, cards away and all back to normal.
Glasgow is absolutely mental at the moment. I work City centre and it's normally busy but the last two weeks have been as busy as I have seen it in 4 years. With the lights up on the Frasers building on Buchanan St, it definitely looks and feels like Christmas. Just need a little snow now.
Rather a subdued feeling in the hospital with decorations frowned up and minimal where there are any at all. It's the Xmas prize draw at the club on Thursday so that's normally a sign that we're in the final run up. I went shopping in Reading last night expecting it to be heaving. No crowds, barely any queues at the tills and all the presents done in ninety minutes including 15-20 minutes in Waterstones perusing the books. Cushty. I could get HID one extra pressie (and she's worth it) but we're trying to be frugal and stick to a budget. It looks like Chrimbo chez Homer with the tree up and the pressies at the bottom
