When everything else fails...

mayb its the loft that makes it look bigger , i wouldnt be as into the technical end as most on here , il ask a different question to maybe see if that might get what im trying to say across , if you went to the range with a non golfer would you give them an 8 iron or a 4 iron to hit wit to get started , id give them the 8 coz in my opinion it would be easier to hit , to me anyhow , could be total bolderdash but hey

Oh I agree with you about an 8 being easier to hit than a 4. Was just curious about your clubs is all. Anyway you been cleared for ballybiffin yet?

This thread is a little subjective. When we talk about a 'Go To Club' it depends what 'Go To' means. Members here seem to be at odds to whether that is a lob wedge or Driver.

I think the question in hand should be 'What club do you get the best results from'

If I was to answer that one then my reply would be my '3 Hybrid', Why? I can get a good 200 yards high shot that lands and stops up. I can also get an 180 yard stinger that flies low and spins up to a stop. I can get a very low running 150 yard bump and run from under trees or down a steep hill that rolls out. I can create a chip from the fringe that cuts nicely through the semi rough to the green. I can shape draws and fades to bend the ball when needed. All in all a great club that if pushed to give a name to, it would probably be 'Suzy' after the other love of my life.
