Afternoon all,

I know we've done this before but what is the most annoying shot/mistake you can make. I must have duffed 6 chip shots yesterday in my round of 30 points - so you know where my vote is going!
Pick one from the list below

I tried to tick all of them - it was a nice description of how I played the first on Saturday

Now topping off the tee gets to me I know I can do better, it used to do me in for the rest of the round, but I can get over this now and move on.

A kinfed chip I know will happen at some point but that will get better with practice.

The thing that gets me the most is the 3 putt  Leave the first one short, then gun the second by!It is something that really can destroy a round for me.

I had a new one Monday evening.

In a bunker with my 3rd (par5) and caught the ball so cleany, it ended up as a full shot 58* style. 60 yards away when the pin was only 10. Grrrr

I dont know about annoying but what about the most painful?, got to be the -2 long iron thin with a nice set of bladed Mp-60's

That sounds familiar

Long irons in winter - stick it back in your stance and punch cut everything, terrible distance but no "hand ringing" :D

Since there was no option for all of them, and I know them so well. I voted for duffed chip.

that one really gets to me, you set up perfectly then try to over-control the shot ending up a few feet away - if you're lucky!

I can handle leaving the shot in the bunker if I've made a decent attempt or if the bunkers are really penalising (remember them eagle?)

Unfortunately so! I still have a recurring nightmare involving that very situation ;) Depending on the lie / flag position even now I sometimes worry about escape shots from those traps. I haven't been in them for a while though- touch wood!

It just has to be the shank, i suffered from these two summers ago and still have the odd one. With the duffed-chip, three putt at least you know you what you have done wrong, decelerated or hit the first putt short/too hard but a shank is a bit like the hiccups, just appear out of nowhere and you know there is another one just trying to get out
