Looking in the background on the right of the pic it looks like a "What's NOT in the bag" thread might be interesting as well!

Hehe... all sold now. Things got a little out of hand! Gave HID a big bundle of cash yesterday.... Wondering how to get it back from her for a little Titleist 915 D2.... :D

Thanks I have no idea how to do that. Love those irons. I have them in the normal chrome then spotted these and nabbed them for a bargain price.

Those irons are beautiful. Titleist make some lovely looking clubs. Are they custom black? or Japanese? or did they release those here? Loving Gareth's Mizuno's too. My next set of irons will definitely be more "players" clubs, rather than the fat GI ones I have at the minute.

Very nice gaz. Did we ever get a report back on that optiforce 3 wood? I was fawning over the optiforce driver when I first seen it in the pro shop at Formby hall. Felt light but fantastic.

I've only had 1 game at my place and the meet at Burnham with it, but my thoughts so far compared to my X2Hot is that the X2Hot is longer, but the Optiforce feels nicer to swing, is easier to hit and launches higher.

The feel is all personal preference though. I have arms like twigs so a light club feels better and easier to hit for me. It won't be for everyone.

The other upside for me is that is also have an X2Hot 5 wood, so now I won't stand over the ball wondering if I've picked the right club up! :D

I will keep the optiforce in mind for the future. currently trying to fill the 3/4 wood slot in my bag. got an r11 coming this week to try. I am finished with the cally razor 4 wood. Not forgiving enough. I am also considering an ancient Taylor made but will wait to see how the r11 performs first.

After all that I might just dump all 3 woods and stick a 64 degree wedge in and be done with it.

I can thoroughly recommend the original X Hot. Between the Optiforce and X2Hot for weight and very easy to hit.

I've got a X Hot Pro 4 wood I can bring to Alwoodley if you want a hit with it, but it's not for sale.

Also brand new on eBay for about £70 last time I looked about a month ago.
