Well if it was a friendly I would'nt let someone doing that bother me, it would be less concerning than some golfers I have seen play as well as those I have played with nattering non stop throughout the entire game no matter what point you are at in play. If such things with mates are gonna bother you, dont play them or tell them to pack it in there and then.
