• We'd like to take this opportunity to wish you a Happy Holidays and a very Merry Christmas from all at Golf Monthly. Thank you for sharing your 2025 with us!

What piece of golfing gear has changed your game?

4 iron for me. I don't get on with my 4 iron equivalent hybrid so I bought a Ping G25 4 iron. Fantastic club which is really easy to hit. The flight is lower than the hybrid which means I have more control when the wind is blowing. Great off the tee, fairway and rough.

For me it's been numerous things over the years.
Big bertha driver
Precept Double cover ball
ive used a Laser finder since 1999
Launch monitors and proper custom fit clubs
Video analysis apps
Aimpoint
and recently a new custom fit Raa putter that has paid itself back already..

For me its the new grip on Ping Wedges. Means I have a good idea of where to grip for what yardages. Found it very useful!

I would have said the 30 driver until the last month. It's now the Maranello putter. Don't think I've 3 putted in about 6 rounds. It gives me so much confidence from 3-6 feet.

I didn't know seals had feet!
Yes mate they do, the ones off the coast on The Tees also have 7 toes on each foot, oh no sorry that's the people, the seals only have 5😃

ZZZZZ - boring. 37 points today ta. Think they are working. More to come hopefully once back to fitness

Definitely my hybrids followed a close second by my Callaway draw driver.
It's a club I've always struggle with but since moving to 11.5 degrees and a draw bias it's been a godsend.

It hits nothing now but fades and straight shots for me.

my putter and wedges.
when I first picked up the game I wanted vokeys and a scotty purely on the looks.
Have finally got them in the bad and whilst I'm sure it's new club syndrome. My short has come on nicely recently.
