What noise does your driver make?

My TaylorMade R7 makes the exact noise of a Ken Hom carbon steel wok filled with raspberry jelly being struck by a trombone whilst in the boot of an Austin miniMetro ........... but if I adjust the weights to a neutral configuration it's more like a french horn

My driver sounds nowt like it!!!!

As someone said. This is getting silly.

But as Murph said. Sometimes it does sound like it has cracked or split the face.

Mine makes a nice sound when i middle it, which isnt too often!! makes a horrible fat slappy sound more often than not.

Is that so? Thats where i've been going wrong then as i've been shouting AVE IIIIIIIIIT at impact and only getting about an extra 5 yds

One club not mentioned but sounds really bad is the Cleveland Hi Bore XLS. Many times down the range I've been hitting mine (even out of the middle) and people have stopped to see where the racket was coming from.

Fortunately the good people at GM gave me an R7 Limited and now people are just watching me hit loads of great drives. It is a joy to swing the thing. A club of real beauty.

I have stuck with the neutral settings what are you on? Was thinking of trying the full on distance settings but dont want to upset the already happy boat that is my game.

Mine is currently set to draw but TBH when it has been set Neutral or fade it has still been the same flight.
I am going to have a couple of lessons purely on my driver as I know it's a swing flaw.
When I hit it pure it goes like a bullet but sadly at the moment, them hits are few and far between.
