I usally have 2 rice crispy bars a pack of starburts or fruit pastels along with fluids during a medal day to try and keep energy levels up.

what is on the menu in everyone elses bag?

Orange fanta. The best hangover cure ever.

Rice crispy bars are not good. They will give an instant boost, and then shortly after you will bonk, and go hypoglycaemic (feel weak and pathetic) unless you eat more.

Bananas are supposed to be good, except I hate them.

A cheese sandwich is good, but only if you can be bothered in advance.

I tend to rely on the bacon butty before I play to tide me over.

2 eggs on toast on arrival.

English butter flapjacks and a lucozade or two. Sometimes i have a summer fruits oasis drink as well.

I like those new 'Golf' bars but at 1.50 each they are a bit too pricey. :p

Oh yeah, and a packet of Rennies too!

Them Golf bars are a total rip off £1.50!!! I could make them for about 20p each, now I am soon to be on the dole I think I might give it a go and called them "Shockers" ;)

Usually a bottle of orange cordial, and a Flapjack bar from the Pro shop, and the obligatory Bacon & Tom sandwich and Cup 'o tea at the Halfway House.

two bottles of Lucozade Sport and a Snickers or two. A sip of drink and bite of Snickers after each hole. If I'm playing on a weekend morning, may forego one Snickers for a bacon butty at the halfway house :)

If you can get 18 bites out of two snickers, they must be the massive ones, not the standard bar size. Have a look at the calory count on those, you might be putting weight on during the round, which will be tiring down the stretch.
