What is the most important when choosing a golf destination?

It's intresting that most people have 1 as an important factor yet 11 and 12 as low. How do you know the quality of a course you've never been to apart from using the course designers reputation and what the media have to say about the course.

For me, for a golf trip, it would definitely be the quality of the courses above all else. Top destinations (in no particular order) would be Scotland, Ireland and Lancashire coast so I can't really rank climate that highly (prepares for flak from Scots, Irish and Lancastrians)
