.....or seen when playing golf?

Mine was probably yesterday when playing a club KO match (scratch).

I was 1 down playing our short 310 yard downhill par 4 11th. My opponent was about 10 yards from the green after his drive, with an easy up and down for a birdie 3 and a good chance of going 2 up. I had hit a poor tee shot and was 50 yards from the green. I pulled my approach shot left but it landed on the back edge of the greenside bunker and bounced sideways where it then dropped into the hole for an eagle 2. From there I went on to win 3/2. That fluke changed the game.

the 4 th at my away course has out of bounds surrounding it and around the green. I thinned my wedge into the green it took off up the green up the slope and onto the water treatment building roof. it ran up the roof and then bounced back onto the green. two putts and a safe par!!!! onto the next hole lol:D

Thinned a wedge from about 80 yds out and it was straight at the pin about 6ft high going about 50 yards past the green. All of a sudden the flag flapping in the wind wrapped itself around the ball and a couple of seconds later it dropped a foot from the hole for my birdie putt which I sunk, my partners were not happy!

Topped my driver to a par 3 over water.
The ball left the tee at a height of barely 6 inches.
Bounced 3 times ducks and drakes style on the surface of the lake, bounded up onto the green and ended 4 feet from pin
Sunk the putt for an unlikely and undeserved birdie

Long iron approach to par 5 2nd. Ball sailing right, clatters off a tree and lands nicely on the green. Two putts for a birdie.

Please tell me you walked onto the green like it was no big deal???

I played with the West Bromwich Albion golf society and tee'd off at Stonebridge Golf Course on an icy morning. Misshit my drive and it bounced across the lake and up the fairway before settling about 18inches from the hole. I bounced it across the lake at the 5th also but still went on to win :-)

On our par 4 5th hole I hit a very low slice that was cruising OOB when it hits a tree, looping back onto the course and running down the fairway about 80 yards from the green. I then top my wedge shot that runs down the fairway, onto the green, stopping 2 feet from the hole for an easy birdie putt.
It didn't end there. On the par 3 6th, over the water, I thinned my tee shot that is hurtling towards the trees on the other side of the pond and hits a branch shooting up in the air coming to rest 6 inches from the front of the green. Chip and a putt later for par.

Shot 97 after that as the wheels were back in the club house and my luck ran out!

thinned a bunker shot. 20 yards from green, about 35 to the pin. sailed the green and headed straight for the clubhouse.

time. stood. still !

lucky for me it bounced off the bricks separating massive windows!

I've done the same thing, only my ball bounced on the water 4 times before finding the green

I thinned one at my previous club on the 3rd hole par 3, it was hurtling towards a bunker in front of the green but bounced over it. I thought that it had gone through the back due to the speed it was travelling at. After looking for a couple of moniutes and not finding it I looked in the hole and there it was, a hole in one with an absolutely awful shot :o

My one, and only ace.

154 yard, par 3. Pulled my tee shot fractionally left of the pin. ON landing the ball kicked to the right and followed the break of the green, straight into the hole.

It'll never happen again.

I was playing a par 5 at my old club in NI, and there was a par 5 running up to the clubhouse past the car park. I pulled a sand wedge which then started to drift further on the wind towards the car park, where it started to fall towards an Audi parked overlooking the green. 'Bloody Hell, I wonder who owns that?', I said to my playing partner, who replied 'I do'. Ball hit the windscreen wiper and bounced back onto the course and I chipped and putted for par.

Last week was quite cool in the medal. Good drive 2nd shot 9 iron from 135 with water all down the left. Tugged the shot but it hit the bridge which is parallel to the pin and its shoots straight right (when he should have gone straight on into the water) in the air and lands 10 foot from the pin. Missed the putt :( but happy with a par...:) Unfortunately it didnt better my day!
