Today I find myself in further dismay at the state of my once great club!

Since the chicken chasers took over we've gone from established mid table premier league club to laughing stock of the football league.

If you include interim managers we've 5 different guys at the helm since the opening day of the season, gone from possible bounce back return to the premiership with our squad to being in a situation where we have no idea who is going to be in charge and managers are getting 7 weeks to prove themselves.

I wasn't a fan of Appletons appointment and how it was made but considering what they did to get him they should have given him a chance. Whose next for is Jimmy Kranky because right now you'd be mad to want our top job

Maybe the disguisting behaviour by a few against Steve kean is coming home to roost.

That said, the FA need to start taking responsibility for these foreign owner's who are allowed to ruin not just the clubs but their communities aswell.

Owners who have no idea about running a football club. They may have passed the 'fit to run a club' rules, but that doesn't mean they have any idea how to. Wasn't fat Sam the manager when they took over ? He must be laughing his head off.

Big Sam the media darling isn't exactly over achieving at West Ham with his l fantastic brand of football.

Fit and proper test = how much money you got?

He got West Ham back in the Premier league and they will be staying there this season. Blackburn were safely in the Premier league when he was in charge and are now fighting to avoid relegation to the 1st Division.:mmm: Wonder which Club is doing better.

Gladly take big Sam's brand of football for mid table mediocrity in the premier league over what we've been playing and doing off the pitch.

I never agreed with the way some fans behaved towards Kean but also can say the same for the things Kean said about Allardyce. The fact is at our club currently the players are underachieving but that's because they don't know what's going on from one month to the next with the manager and decisions by Venkys bunch of morons.

Would love a David Gold/Sullivan type to come along and just restore some sort of balance and have a proper plan in place that goes beyond sacking managers on average every 10 games.

Blackburn are THE prime example of what can be acheived when it is owned by someone who genuinely loves the club, and what can happen when it isn't. It's never going to happen now, but I really wish owners would wake up to the fact that long term managers produce the best results. Nicholson at Spurs in the '60's, Shankley / Paisley and the boot room culture at Liverpool in the '70's and of course Ferguson at Man U in the 90's, 00's and now.
