Oh dear. It's happened to all of us one time or another. How aware were you of your score and did you change your mindset after 13? Sometimes I have found that as I get near the end I get ahead of myself thinking of my final score instead of just focussing on the shot in hand. Result is nearly always disaster.

Last Wednesday i went out after work to do 9-holes with a mate. After 8 I was on 21 points and playing solid. Hit a great drive up the par 5 9th into a strong wind. 2nd with a 3-wood got blown down into a fairway bunker 60-yards short of the green. The clubhouse overlooks the 9th and has a massive gallery window and I could see a crowd watching. failed to get out of the trap, 4th shot just carried the lip, 5th shot was shanked into a greenside trap, 6th shot scuffed out of one bunker into the next door bunker, picked up and sculked off knowing there was plenty of fun being had at my expense. Felt like a prat
