Honestly not that much as I don't tend to be that wild. Besides, if the rough is bad, I'd take more shots getting it out than playing another ball so I'd probably prefer it stayed lost.
 
Probably about 9 shots based on last years driving and the state of the course. I'm sure 12 at some point.

Poor technique and little course maintaince don't mix.

Thankfully I'm working on getting better.
 
Having spotters would hardly make a difference.

Having a wall of people to bounce a wide off or stands behind a green to stop me going too far over the back a little more so.
 
Played in a senior open last year, they had spotters on 3 holes around where your drives should land, it did help twice and I must say it was a bit of a novelty having spotters to help.
But overall I don't think it would make much differance to my H/C.

Are they allowed to talk to you? I was once told that mine was the longest they had seen all day into the wind. I really did catch that one well on the way to a nett 72.

Well I never even gave it a thought if they could speak to us, both times I was told by the spotter that my ball was behind a tree.
