What books are you reading just now

Currently 2/3 rds of the way through Game of Thrones, a bit hard going to start with (say first 100 pages) but worth persevering with.

Recently read The Innocent Man by John Grisham – typically good, Alex Ferguson’s biography – total lack of depth, The Alchemist – a nice story, but by far and away the most enthralling read has been Marching Powder by Rusty Young – an unbelievable true account of a convicted Brit’s time in a Bolivian prison.

Good to hear it I'm on page 95 and I've been very close to picking something else up, but I think it's just starting turn around now!

Just starting "Blood Meridian" by Cormac Mccarthy. My favourite author by far. Will be re-reading "All the pretty horses" when I've finished.

Fantastic book. Utterly bleak and economical. I love his writing style. There isn't a word out of place.

she certainly does. I wouldn't want to be handling that gun after she'd used it!!!!
